Recorded in Epping Forest in 1882. Cooke and English. Also in 1906 and 1941.
Also recorded for Hatfield Forest in 2002. Green and Lucas and in Southweald Park by Margaret Mitchell. Found in South Ockendon in 2006 by Del Smith. Identified by Tony Boniface. Said to grow on calcareous soils.
